We are seeking a professional and customer-focused
Medical Receptionist
to join our healthcare facility in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors, ensuring a seamless and welcoming experience. This role involves handling front-desk operations, managing patient appointments, processing insurance claims, and providing administrative support to the medical team.
Key Responsibilities:
Patient Coordination & Front Desk Management:
Greet and assist patients and visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
Manage patient registration, update records, and verify insurance details.
Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments.
Handle incoming calls, emails, and inquiries efficiently.
Provide information about clinic services, procedures, and policies.
Billing & Insurance Processing:
Process payments, issue receipts, and manage cash transactions.
Coordinate with insurance companies for approvals, claims, and rejections.
Guide patients on co-payments, insurance coverage, and billing inquiries.
Administrative Support:
Maintain and organize medical records and confidential patient data.
Ensure accurate data entry in the clinic's management system.
Assist doctors, nurses, and other staff with administrative tasks.
Monitor inventory and request office and medical supplies as needed.
Compliance & Patient Safety:
Adhere to
HAAD (DOH - Department of Health Abu Dhabi)
regulations and healthcare compliance standards.
Ensure patient confidentiality and data security in line with UAE healthcare laws.
Maintain a clean, organized, and professional reception area.
Qualifications & Skills:

Education:
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field.

Experience:
Minimum
1-3 years
of experience in a healthcare setting (clinic/hospital).

Technical Skills:
Proficiency in medical reception software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Knowledge of insurance claim processing and medical billing.

Soft Skills:
Strong communication skills in
English (mandatory); Arabic is an advantage.
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
High level of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality.

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
