Job Description

Key Responsibilities:



Assign ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes for diagnoses and procedures. Review medical documentation to ensure coding accuracy and compliance with hospital policies. Work closely with physicians and healthcare staff to clarify diagnoses and procedures. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including HIPAA and insurance guidelines. Conduct audits and reviews to maintain coding accuracy. Assist in claim denials and re-submissions to insurance companies. Stay updated with coding guidelines, policies, and changes in medical coding standards. Generate reports on coding productivity and reimbursement trends. Maintain confidentiality and security of patient records. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills:



Certification in medical coding (CPC, CCS, or equivalent). Associate or Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management, Medical Coding, or a related field preferred. 1-3 years of medical coding experience in a hospital or healthcare setting. Strong knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding guidelines. Familiarity with hospital revenue cycle processes and insurance claims. Proficiency in coding software and electronic health records (EHR) systems. Strong attention to detail and analytical skills. Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Pay: From AED4,000.00 per month
