As a Quality Officer in the medical field, you will ensure that all healthcare services meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and regulatory compliance. Your primary focus will be on implementing, monitoring, and optimizing our quality management system, with an emphasis on adherence to healthcare regulations and improving patient satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and oversee quality management policies and procedures in alignment with local regulations and international standards (e.g., DOH, DHA, MOH JAWDA KPI Submissions & Implementation,).
Ensure the healthcare facility remains compliant with the regulations set by the DOH, DHA, MOH and other relevant authorities.
Conduct regular assessments of healthcare processes and services to ensure they meet established quality benchmarks.
Perform audits, inspections, and evaluations of both clinical and administrative practices to identify areas requiring improvement.
Collect and analyze quality indicators to monitor facility performance and patient outcomes.
Lead and participate in Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) initiatives to enhance patient safety, care efficiency, and overall service standards.
Organize and facilitate training programs on quality improvement for staff across all levels.
Identify potential risks affecting patient safety, staff well-being, and operational effectiveness.
Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate identified risks while ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
Prepare the healthcare facility for national and international accreditation processes and regulatory inspections.
Provide training sessions for staff on quality standards, patient safety protocols, and regulatory requirements.
Ensure all healthcare personnel stay updated with the latest quality improvement methodologies and best practices.
Prepare comprehensive reports on audit results, corrective actions, and improvements made to maintain continuous compliance.
Work collaboratively with clinical and administrative teams to promote a culture of quality and patient safety.
Partner with department heads and physicians to execute quality improvement projects and resolve concerns affecting patient care.
Oversee the reporting and management of adverse events, incidents, and near misses within the healthcare facility.
