The media administrator main objective is to oversee a fully equipped TV Studio that includes a Studio Floor and Production Control Room PRC. The administrator will be working closely with the faculties who teach TV courses regarding class logistics, providing training and technical support for the students in using the equipment in the studio. The administrator is also responsible for maintaining studio equipment, oversees projects for a studio and the equipment that needed to complete various productions. Tasks and Responsibilities: \xef\x82\xa7 Carry out day-to-day tasks in a studio like organizing equipment and keeping the workshop tidy. \xef\x82\xa7 Coordinate projects that move through the studio. \xef\x82\xa7 Assisting faculties in training students in the studio for their TV Production classes. \xef\x82\xa7 Managing and preparing the studio for use by students, faculty, and other departments in CHSS and the UAEU. \xef\x82\xa7 Providing help online and offline to students and faculty members in relation to their video production / editing needs, as well as technical help during exams. \xef\x82\xa7 Monitoring equipment during the operation and providing technical assistance to students. \xef\x82\xa7 Maintaining studio equipment and protect it from damage. \xef\x82\xa7 Apply the principles and rules of general safety during work. \xef\x82\xa7 Assisting faculties in students trips and exam supervision. \xef\x82\xa7 Performing any other work related to the nature of work upon assignment.Minimum QualificationQualifications include a bachelors degree in a Media or Fine Arts field, and proven job experience in videography. This job requires experience studio production control room, video montage, editing and troubleshooting skills, as well as continuous knowledge of lighting, camera, and other studio equipment.Preferred Qualification
