: Mechanical / Mechatronics Engineer

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and talented Mechanical Engineer with a passion for sales to join our lighting company. As a fresh mechanical engineering graduate, you will have the opportunity to apply your technical expertise while actively contributing to the sales and business development efforts of our lighting products. You will work closely with the sales team, leveraging your engineering knowledge to understand customer needs, provide technical solutions, and support the growth of our business.

Responsibilities:

1. Technical Sales Support:

- Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements and provide technical solutions that align with their needs.

- Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and technical trainings to educate customers on the features and benefits of our lighting products.

- Assist in the preparation of proposals, technical specifications, and cost estimates for customer projects.

- Respond to technical inquiries and provide prompt and accurate information to support the sales process.

2. Customer Relationship Management:

- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers by providing excellent technical support and customer service.

- Act as a technical advisor, addressing customer concerns, troubleshooting issues, and recommending appropriate solutions.

- Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling of lighting products based on customer requirements and industry trends.

- Collaborate with the sales team to develop and implement strategies to expand our customer base and increase sales revenue.

3. Product Development and Improvement:

- Gather customer feedback and insights to contribute to the improvement of existing lighting products and the development of new products.

- Collaborate with the engineering and design teams to translate customer requirements into product specifications and design concepts.

- Participate in design reviews and provide technical input to ensure products meet customer expectations and industry standards.

- Stay updated with market trends and competitor offerings to identify product gaps and propose innovative solutions.

4. Sales Reporting and Analysis:

- Track and report on sales activities, customer interactions, and market trends using CRM tools or other sales tracking systems.

- Analyze sales data to identify patterns, trends, and opportunities for optimization.

- Provide regular reports and updates to the sales and management teams, highlighting key findings and recommending actions.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

- Strong technical knowledge of lighting products, mechanical design principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.

- Excellent sales and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport and effectively communicate technical information to customers.

- Proficiency in CAD software for 3D modeling and drafting.

- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

- Good organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills for preparing proposals, reports, and delivering presentations.

- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and adapt to changing business needs.
