They assist mechanical supervisor to analyze performance results and maintain mechanical equipment and machinery.Key Responsibilities:

• Installing and performing diagnostic test on mechanical system
• Troubleshooting mechanical malfunctions and breakdowns, as well as performing repairs.
• Documenting processes and maintaining mechanical service records.
• Monitoring the availability of parts and replenishing supplies.
• Optimizing mechanical efficiency by adjusting machinery and equipment settings.
• Training co-workers on the safe and efficient use of mechanical machinery and equipment.
• Check equipment and operating systems and correct wherever necessary.
• Handle personal tools for job including up to date documented personal tool list
• Handle time accounting and complete HOTSOS work order.
• Use hand tools like power equipment and rigging equipment daily.
• Weld using cutting torch.
• Handle simple and complex heavy industrial equipment like scissor-lifts and building equipment unit (BMU).
• Resolve motor, pump, conveyor, and hydraulic problems
• Ensure high level of technical support to lower-level technicians

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Minimum of three (3) years working experience in Engineering Department in a hotel
• Knowledge of Engineering Operations in the Hotel
• Previous experience in operation and maintenance of Electrical and Mechanical equipment
• Ability to trouble shoot and maintain commercial equipment and related installations in the Hotel
• High school diploma or GED and/or an associate degree supplemented by specialized training in the mechanical trades
