Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Mechanical Technician to join our team. The Mechanical Technician will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical systems and equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical systems, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance and repair of mechanical equipment and systems to ensure optimal operation.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose mechanical issues and implement effective solutions in a timely manner.
• Installation: Assist with the installation of new mechanical systems and equipment.
• Inspection: Conduct regular inspections of mechanical systems to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and inspections.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols while performing job duties.
• Parts Management: Identify and order necessary parts and materials for repairs and maintenance.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other technicians, engineers, and staff to coordinate maintenance activities and ensure efficient operation.
• Emergency Response: Respond to mechanical emergencies and breakdowns promptly to minimize downtime.
• Continuous Improvement: Recommend improvements to enhance the reliability and efficiency of mechanical systems.

Qualifications:

• Education: Associate's degree or technical diploma in mechanical engineering, industrial maintenance, or a related field.
• Experience:
• Proven experience as a Mechanical Technician or similar role.
• Experience with a variety of mechanical systems and equipment.
• Skills:
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical blueprints, schematics, and manuals.
• Basic computer skills for documentation and reporting.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
