• Assembling, installing, and verifying mechanical systems and components on the UAV.
• Conducting scheduled and unscheduled installations and maintenance, including troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical issues.
• Assisting engineers in the testing of mechanical systems and components, documenting results, and suggesting improvements.
• Operating ground support equipment and using specialized tools for aircraft maintenance and testing.
• Following detailed mechanical diagrams and assembly instructions to accurately assemble UAV components.
• Comply with industry safety regulations and standards during maintenance and testing procedures.
• Participating in the preparation and execution of flight test operations, including pre-flight checks and post-flight inspections.
• Maintaining a clean and organized work environment and managing inventory of supplies and tools.

Education & Experience:

• National Diploma in mechanical engineering or Artisan equivalent
• Experience minimum of 3 years post qualification in the aerospace industry
• Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on skills in aircraft system assembly and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in using tools and equipment necessary for aircraft maintenance.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and technical manuals.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high safety and quality standards.
• Good communication skills to effectively work with team members and report technical issues.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing test schedules and project demands.
• Must work neatly and orderly and actively partake in hanger maintenance and tool control.
• Experience in aircraft or UAV maintenance and operations
