: Accountabilities apply to both CPC and WHPs.a.) Receives assignments and instructions of work to be carried out. Reviews work assigned, arrange for necessary materials, tools, equipment and assign tasks and follow up until satisfactory completion.b.) Assists Supervisor in inspecting and diagnosing faults on pumps, valves, gear boxes, etc., checking for corrosion, bent or cracked parts. Carries out routine servicing such as replacement or adjustment of filters, changing oil, lubricating and cleaning parts.c.) Carries out routine and preventive maintenance on pumps, compressors, diesel engines, rotating equipment and heat exchangers. Reinstall repaired units on locations and carry out test runs as necessary.d.) Diagnose faults under Supervisors instructions, overhaul engines and related equipment in workshop.e.) Performs major mechanical repairs and overhaul on various engines and rotating equipment, such as main oil, intermediate and water injection pumps, in accordance with planned maintenance schedules.f.) Re installs repaired units on locations and run off-load to ensure proper operation. Check equipment and machinery for overheating and leaks, and ensure that all safety devices such as temperature gauges and over speed trip switches are functioning normally.
