:Job purpose & Scope:Monitors all construction activity of all rotating machinery group and installations in the yard related to assembly, testing and commissioning of rotating machinery. Monitor and highlight any non-compliance issues that may require addressing. Liaises with other trades for onsite inspections.Principal Accountabilities:

• Oversee that all factory assembly of rotating machinery including various components, materials, fittings, piping and other accessories comply with international standards.

• Observe and check the equipment drawings ,piping isometric , plant diagrams, plant plot plan drawings ,construction drawings and to ensure it is in accordance Company standards , codes and practices.

• Attend and witness the test of the rotating machinery and ensure it is as specified in the contract and meets the project requirements.

• Participate in final checks of the newly constructed, installed equipment at the yard before transport to the Islands.

• Report on project status and progress to Sr. Engineer and outline issues and their mitigation. Identifying areas of concern with respect to progress of the Project and recommending corrective actions wherever required.

• Contributes in FAT for the equipment at the vendor shops.

• Performs analysis and diagnosis to provide solutions to mechanical rotating equipment related problems. Ensure materials used are in accordance with specifications. Ensure that equipment monitoring systems are as specified contractually.

• Ensures a high level of HSE performance by ensuring work standards, procedures and HSE programs are followed and given a high level of priority.

• Performs other duties as assigned such as taking part in training / developing new recruits/ UAE National employees/ developees.

• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with contractors and project personnel.

• Attends all handover meetings and other project meetings.
