As the Mechanical Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing all mechanical operations and maintenance activities at the Sewage Treatment Plant (STP).Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and lead a team of mechanical technicians and engineers in the maintenance and repair of all mechanical equipment at the STP.- Develop and implement preventive maintenance plans to ensure the smooth operation of all mechanical systems.- Knowledge in Drawings.- Conduct regular inspections and troubleshoot any issues with equipment such as pumps, valves, motors, and other mechanical components.- Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks and minimize downtime.- Monitor and analyze equipment performance data to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment for all staff.- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and inventory levels.- Train and develop team members to improve their technical skills and knowledge.- Collaborate with procurement and supply chain teams to source necessary spare parts and equipment.- Keep up-to-date with industry developments and implement best practices to improve efficiency and reduce costs.Requirements:- Polytechnic Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or ITI Mechanical or a related field.- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a STP or wastewater treatment plant.- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and equipment used in STPs.- Excellent leadership and communication skills.- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.- Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities.- Familiarity with relevant safety regulations and procedures.- Proficient in using computer software and maintenance management systems.- Fluency in English, both written and verbal.If you are a highly motivated and skilled Mechanical Supervisor with experience in STPs, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
