Job Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Plans and lays out work from oral and written instructions; assigns and supervises the work of plumbing personnel engaged in the installation, repair, and maintenance of water, air, gas, sewer, steam, and hot water heating and distribution systems; supervises and inspects the installation and repair of plumbing pipes, sinks, traps, valves, faucets, vents, pumps, and similar equipment, fixtures, and apparatus.
• Responsible for the installation, repair, maintenance and record keeping of boilers and pressure vessels.
• Responsible for the operation of a natural gas master meter system, which includes installation, repair, maintenance and record keeping, meeting the required regulations.
• Estimates job labor and materials costs; maintains job and cost records; requisitions materials, supplies, and equipment.
• Conducts regular inspections of work in progress and on completion; participates in the more complex plumbing tasks.
• Confers with officials on proposed plumbing projects and makes recommendations.
• Recruits and trains skilled and trades helper personnel.
• Establishes safety and work performance standards for subordinates.
• Performs related work as required.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

• Diploma/ High School Level-Metric.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to make estimates labor and materials needed for plumbing jobs.
• Knowledge of the practices, methods, materials, tools and equipment of the plumbing trade.
• A strong analytical mindset.
• Must have a minimum working experience of 5 years.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per month
