Job Description

The Role

• Overseeing and coordinating the activities of mechanical technicians, engineers, and maintenance staffs. o Planning and scheduling maintenance, repairs, and installations of mechanical equipment and systems. o Providing technical guidance and support team members, troubleshooting mechanical issues as needed. o Monitoring the performance of mechanical systems and equipment, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing solutions to optimize efficiency. o Conducting regular inspections and audits to assess the condition of equipment and identify maintenance needs. o Training and developing staff to enhance their skills and knowledge. o Maintaining records and documentation related to maintenance activities and equipment performance. o Other Task as instructed by direct manager


Requirements

• Degree in mechanical engineering or related field. o To have experience as Mechanical Supervisor for min 5 years who is familiar with marine industry and all the equipment on board vessel especially main engines (different types) , Gen set engines (different types), pumps, winches etc. o Who can guide the team and give advice and be able to prepare spare parts form the manual. Preferably to be a Chief Engineer who has sailed on board the vessels.
