Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Mechanic Supervisor to lead our team of mechanics and ensure efficient and effective maintenance and repair operations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in automotive or industrial mechanics, coupled with strong leadership abilities. The Mechanic Supervisor will oversee the daily activities of the mechanics, prioritize tasks, and ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervision and Leadership:
• Lead, supervise, and motivate a team of mechanics, ensuring they perform their duties effectively and efficiently.
• Schedule and assign tasks to mechanics based on workload and skill levels.
• Provide training and guidance to mechanics on technical procedures, safety protocols, and best practices.
• Maintenance and Repair Oversight:
• Oversee maintenance and repair operations for vehicles, machinery, or equipment.
• Diagnose complex mechanical issues and provide technical expertise to resolve problems.
• Ensure repairs are completed accurately and within established timelines.
• Quality Control and Compliance:
• Monitor quality of work performed by mechanics to ensure adherence to standards and specifications.
• Conduct inspections and audits to verify repairs and maintenance are performed correctly.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and procedures.
• Inventory and Resource Management:
• Manage inventory of parts, tools, and equipment necessary for maintenance and repairs.
• Coordinate with procurement to ensure availability of required materials.
• Optimize resource allocation to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime.
• Documentation and Reporting:
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities and hands on experience on CRM.
• Generate reports on team performance, productivity, and maintenance metrics.
• Communicate effectively with management and stakeholders regarding status updates and issues.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Mechanic Supervisor or similar role in automotive, industrial, or related field.
• Strong technical knowledge of mechanical systems and repair techniques.
• Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Solid understanding of safety regulations and compliance requirements.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Certification or degree in Automotive Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field (preferred).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED7,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
