Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Project Engineer to provide technical support for our team and manage the day-to-day activities of the project. The successful candidate will work under the Project Manager and be responsible for reviewing plans and specifications, analyzing engineering problems, providing technical advice, and ensuring the smooth implementation of projects. The Project Engineer will work closely with the contractor and client to ensure that projects are completed within the set timelines and budgets.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Review plans and specifications according to the project requirements.

• Provide technical advice to staff, supervisors, and contracting service providers regarding the installation and maintenance of systems.

• Analyze mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineering problems and formulate solutions.

• Demonstrate proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and having knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, and Construction Project Management software is advantageous..

• Advise on any technical aspects of the mechanical services that may affect work progress, such as quality issues or snags.

• Manage and oversee the MEP team on a daily basis.

• Work closely with the contractor and client to ensure smooth project execution.

• Monitor and promote health and safety on the site, and record and report any breaches to the Project Manager.

• Witness on-site piped system pressure tests and other tests that may be required during the first fix works, and advise the Project Manager accordingly.

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERTISE:

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a similar position in the market.

• Previous construction experience with working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, refrigeration, and plumbing systems.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Mechanical Engineering degree (Attested) (Required).

• UAE driving license (Required).

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

• Knowledge of industry standards and codes.
