MEP Project Engineer _ Mechanical

Site engineer to perform a technical, organizational and supervisory role on MEP projects in construction and fitout. A site engineer works as part of the site management team liaising with and working alongside technicians, draughtsman, engineers, project manager, engineering managers, foreman, planners, surveyors and subcontractors. They share responsibility for site security, health and safety, and the organization and supervision of material and human resources.

Project Execution:

1.Direct manaagement of workers on site for daily and weekly targets and quality.

2. Good knowledge of HVAC, plumbing and firefighting execuition and material take off.

3. Extensive knowledge of DM / civil defense / building & mall management authority regulations drawing submittal & execution work approvals procedures

4.Good understanding of UAE Civil defense regulations.

5. Material Take off based on the drawing and preparing a procurement schedule taking into consideration the project cash flows

6. .Resource planning based on the project implementation plans for project completion within the targeted project tenure.

7. Ensure QA/QC procedures to be implemented meticulously.

8. CAD and Drafting experience

9. Orchestrate with staff to ensure all HSE guidelines, rules and regulations are adhered to and that risks are avoided within the working environment.

10. Experience in handling multimillion dirham project within project timelines.

11. Handing over procedures. (Completion certificates, Approvals from Civil Defense, Municipality etc)

12. Conversant in preparation of Operations and Maintenance manuals and As-Built Drawing document submission.

Competencies:

At least 3 -6 years regional / local market experience in an MEP fitout company, MEP Construction Company, consulting firm as a Resident Engineer or Project Engineer is preferable.

3. Excellent organizational skill and Interpersonal Skills.

4. Articulate and clear in explaining the objectives to the team that are managed.

5. Excellent Knowledge of inter relation of HVAC and Electrical Disciplines, materials, technical and fit-out projects.

6. Ability to handle multiple tasks and works under pressure.

7. Good Administration skills.

8. Handle conflicts or challenging situations confidently.

9. Ability to utilize available resources effectively.

10. Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical from reputed universities.

11. UAE driving license must

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED4,500.00 - AED7,000.00 per month

• Bachelor's (Required)

• UAE contruction or Fitout: 3 years (Required)

Language:

• English, Hindi and Malayalam (Required)

License/Certification:

• UAE Driving License. (Required)
