Job Title: Mechanical QA/QC Engineer

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced

Mechanical QA/QC Engineer

to join our construction team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have

10-12 years of experience

in

quality assurance and quality control

within the construction industry, specifically in

mechanical systems

. The role involves overseeing quality processes, ensuring compliance with project specifications, coordinating with consultants, and managing all related documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

Inspection & Compliance:

Prepare and submit

Inspection Requests (IRs)

and coordinate approvals. Conduct inspections and ensure

installed mechanical systems

meet project and industry standards. Ensure compliance with

QA/QC policies, codes, and regulations

.

Documentation & Close-Out Process:

Manage and prepare

O&M manuals, As-Built drawings, and project close-out documents

. Oversee

Testing & Commissioning (T&C) documentation

and ensure proper execution. Conduct

training sessions for client staff

on mechanical system operations.

Quality Control & Non-Conformities:

Manage

Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs)

and ensure timely corrective actions. Address and resolve

Site Observation Notes (SONs)

. Implement and monitor

quality control procedures

across the project.

Coordination & Reporting:

Work closely with consultants, contractors, and project teams to resolve quality issues. Provide reports on

QA/QC progress and compliance

.

Required Experience & Skills:

?

10-12 years

of relevant experience in

mechanical QA/QC

roles within the

construction industry

.
? Strong knowledge of

mechanical installations, quality control processes, and project documentation

.
? Experience in

handling NCRs, SONs, IRs, and T&C documentation

.
? Ability to coordinate with

consultants and contractors

effectively.
? Excellent organizational and communication skills.
