Mechanical Project Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Engineer with a valid Abu Dhabi Municipality-approved engineering license and a minimum of 10 years of experience in the UAE, specifically within the Oil & Gas industry. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience working on ADNOC Liquid Mud Plants (LMP) projects . Immediate joiners are preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead mechanical engineering activities for ADNOC Liquid Mud Plants (LMP) projects , ensuring compliance with technical, safety, and regulatory standards.
• Develop, review, and optimize mechanical designs, specifications, and calculations for LMP and related Oil & Gas infrastructure projects.
• Oversee the installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of mechanical systems and equipment.
• Ensure that all engineering works are in compliance with Abu Dhabi Municipality regulations and ADNOC requirements.
• Supervise and mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance throughout project execution.
• Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure mechanical systems are functioning as per the design and specification.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex mechanical issues during project phases, ensuring minimal disruption to timelines.
• Prepare technical documentation, including reports, progress updates, and presentations for stakeholders.
• Ensure all mechanical work adheres to quality assurance and health & safety standards.

Required Qualifications:

• Valid Abu Dhabi Municipality-approved engineering license (mandatory).
• Minimum 10 years of experience in mechanical engineering , with at least 5 years in Oil & Gas or ADNOC LMP projects .
• Proven experience with Liquid Mud Plant (LMP) projects or similar infrastructure projects within the Oil & Gas sector.
• Extensive knowledge of Abu Dhabi Municipality regulations , ADNOC standards, and industry best practices.
• Strong leadership and project management capabilities.
• Expertise in mechanical design, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD , SolidWorks , or equivalent.
• Strong analytical skills with a focus on problem-solving and innovation.
