Carries out the review/comments and technical contribute in the modification packages related to LNG/OAG/IGD production facilities and associated off sites
Technical Supports/Guide the core Team for planning activities of all major works including modifications in order to ensure successful execution of Trains Turnaround
Continuous monitoring of Major works/modifications during turnaround and Carries out pre commissioning checks on the completed work to ensure that tasks are completed as per company standard
Prepares Technical review & preliminary approval of all materials for the Turnaround, ensures materials comply with company standards with the correct specification for the duty
Use experience, knowledge of standards and best engineering practices and innovative thinking to develop solutions to the many and varied activities of the Mechanical discipline
Liaises regularly with ADGAS TA Team Members to ensure that the all major works, Modifications for Train Turnaround are planned and executed successfully
Identify all long Lead items/obsolete items from the R&RS, WRS for advance action to meet the TA requirement
Carry out site study and submit report with action plan and review method statements for major jobs for effective execution
Contribute Task Risk Assessment (TRA) meeting and takes an active part in TRA proceedings
Adopt PlanningNorms and sets up controlled implementation of these norms
Undertakes pre-engineering functions of all aspects of Major Overhauls
Produces Manpower, Plant & Equipment Mobilization and Demobilization Schedules
Promotes Quality workmanship in line with ADGAS requirements and management directives through discussions and meetings with work force during TA
Prepare the detailed turnaround reports covering all aspects of Mechanical work including technical issues and solutions.
Attends all meetings with client job officers and ensures coordinates all activities related to the turnaround
Requirements
Bachelors / Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering
Min 15 years out of which 10 years in Planning Shutdowns, Turnaround and Revamp Project in Oil & Gas Field Environment. Last 5 years should be as a Lead/Senior Planning Engineer
Must have knowledge of API/ASME/ANSI standards.
Must have been the Senior Planning Engineer on a Turnaround for a minimum of 350000+ man-hours
Must have lead & managed a multi-disciplinary planning team of qualified Planning Engineers for a Turnaround
Assist Core Team Leader in all planning activities related to the turnaround
Plans, Co-ordinates, monitor the activities including Mechanical, Instruments / Electrical Planning
Ensures the level 5 work plan generation as per scope of works
Supervises the team of schedulers and other staff involved in planning activities
Good Communications Skills with fluent English both spoken and written.
