: The Job Instructor reports to the Plant Training & Development Section Head. He provides On Job Training (OJT) to the UAE national developees. As part of the Nationalization process of Client, young UAE nationals are recruited as developees and being trained to take established positions in the company. In order to develop them as competent personnel, structured OJT programs have been developed as CAS for Operator! Technician developees and CAMS for Engineer Developees. The Job Instructor's role is to teach and train them to get adequate competency level in the organization in par with the employees in established positions. To provide On Job Training (OJT) to the Operator! Technician developees using the approved Personal Development Plans (PDP) through the CAS system. To provide On Job Training (OJT) to the Engineer developees using the approved Personal Development Framework (PDF) through the CAMS system. To participate in the development of Client's annual training plan by assisting line personnel review, analyze and evaluate proposed training courses to ensure the courses support the organizational operational ! technical training objectives and requirements. To support the implementation of approved plans in Buhasa as per set timelines and quality standards in order to achieve the required skill levels in the technical functions. To contribute to the development, implementation and regular review of the training policies, procedures and systems to ensure consistent & systematic application of best practices and to improve plan performance.To review the technical requirements and procedures of Technical/operational functions and develop On the Job Training (OJT) programs to ensure effective skill development of UAE national trainees. To prepare relevant training schedules based on the actual needs of the operational requirements and personal development plans to fulfill organizational objectives by effective employee development. To manage and update OJT information, arrange the learning resources or documents such as training material, Operation Manuals, technical drawings, operation / technical procedures etc. that are required by the trainees in order to ensure successful execution of training programs. To train existing staff on new operations / technology when acquired by the company and coordinate internal and external training sessions on related equipment and process units. To provide refresher training to established operations personnel or technicians, when requested by Section Heads or Shift Controllers, in order to increase their performance. To plan for plant visits based on trainee availability, training requirements and availability of other resources, conduct OJT during site visits and issue OJT report on trainees\' performance for management decision making. To develop and administer theoretical and practical assessment tests for operators, technicians and engineering trainees to ensure their OJT activities achieve the desired training requirements. To assist in the performance review process by advising on accurate completion of the Development Plans in order to ensure comprehensive capturing of individual training requirements. To conduct counseling sessions with trainees and determine if they have problems with formal technical training or OJT training conducted by line personnel and develop follow-up training activities to overcome the identified problem areas. To enforce the implementation of Client's Health, Safety and Environment Management System (HSE-MS) and also promote awareness of its use among all division and department personnel.
