Assist in the integration of payload systems into the UAV, including mounting, wiring, and configuring payloads to ensure proper operation.
Conduct ground testing of UAV systems, including payloads, sensors, avionics, and communication systems, to verify proper functionality.
Support flight test preparation and execution, ensuring all systems, particularly payloads, are fully integrated and operational for flight.
Operate test equipment during ground and flight testing, monitor system performance, and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
Collaborate with engineers and senior technicians to review test plans and ensure all systems are ready for integration and testing.
Assist in preparing and maintaining test setups, ensuring all equipment is calibrated and functioning correctly.
Education & Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent, with additional vocational training or certification in mechanical technology preferred, with more than 7 years of experience.
Previous experience in cointegration and test.
Familiarity UAV Systems.
Proficiency in using hand and power tools for all test necessities of UAVs.
Knowledge of adhesive bonding and assembly methods for composite structures.
Attention to detail and the ability to follow written instructions and work in a team environment.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues related to composite fabrication.
Commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement in all aspects of composite manufacturing operations.
Certification in LEAN, 3P and 5S are desirable.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting drawings.
