Profile Middle East is a service provider with more than 20 years of experience in the market which specializes in Technical Field and HR Consultancy Services in the Industrial Sector (Oil & Gas, Engineering, Construction, Commissioning) with our focus on the Middle East region and a worldwide presence.For our own projects, we are looking for: MECHANICAL INSPECTORRef code: CR_2407-144_Mechanical InspectorJob summaryMISSION:The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and compliance of mechanical components and systems during the fabrication and construction phase of EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) projects.TASKS:
- Conduct inspections of mechanical components and systems during the fabrication phase to ensure compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Verify that materials, fabrication processes, and finished products meet quality standards.
- Perform dimensional and visual inspections, as well as non-destructive testing (NDT) as required.
- Ensure all mechanical fabrication activities comply with project specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Stay updated with relevant codes and standards, including ASME, API, and other applicable regulations.
- Work closely with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure quality and compliance and resolve any issues or discrepancies.
- Bachelor\'s degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Certification as a Quality Inspector is highly desirable.
- 10+ years of experience in quality control and inspection within the Oil & Gas sector, specifically during the fabrication phase of EPC projects.
- Extensive experience with inspection techniques and tools, including dimensional inspection, visual inspection, and non-destructive testing (NDT).
- Fluent level of written and spoken English.
- Job Location: Sharjah yard, Hamriyah Free Zone, UAE;
- Contract Duration: 1 year;
- Starting date: August 2024.
