We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Mechanical Inspector to join the NASEC Dubai team. As a Mechanical Inspector, you should have at least 10-12 years of UAE Experience with an Engineering Consultant company in the UAE and be capable of handling the design with deep knowledge in Mechanical materials and suppliers and ensuring compliance with all applicable codes, standards, specifications, and BOQs.

• Should hold a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Fully aware of UAE authorities' rules & regulations in addition to international codes standards and Knowledge of Dubai materials and suppliers.
• Document non-conformance and may participate in determining appropriate resolution at sites.
• The Mechanical Engineer should assist the Project Manager and the Senior MEP Engineers in administering the operational functions of the day-to-day activities of the project.
• Participate and manage in the review and approval of all submittals, shop drawings, IR, MIR, etc. by the contractor with a focus on quality assurance during the engineering phase of construction.
• Coordinate with all design parties (electrical /architect /structural and follow-up dept...)
• Be available to undertake off-site inspections of proposed equipment and materials as may be deemed necessary by the Project Manager.
• Undertake prior review of Contractor's proposed mechanical system testing & commissioning methods and schedule
• Should have UAE driving license and car.
• Document and report inspection findings, non-conformances, and corrective actions accurately and promptly.
• Collaborate closely with engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to resolve technical issues and ensure smooth project progress.
• Conduct performance tests and measurements as required to validate mechanical system functionality and efficiency.
• Promote and enforce safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment on-site.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Proven 10-12 years' experience as a Mechanical Engineer/Inspector or similar role in construction projects, preferably in Dubai or the UAE.
• Thorough knowledge of mechanical systems, installation practices, equipment, and relevant codes and standards.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately.
• Familiarity with inspection tools, techniques, and software for documentation and reporting (Knowledgeable in using REVIT is preferred).
