Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanical Motor Fitter to join our team at AL ZAAB Electrical Motors and Technical Service L.L.C. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the assembly, disassembly, fitting, and maintenance of electriclal 3 phase and single motors and compressors ranging from 0.5 kW to 350 kW .

Key Responsibilities

• Perform assembly and fitting of electrical motors, compressors, and related components.
• Diagnose, inspect, and resolve mechanical issues in motors and compressors.
• Fit and align rotating parts such as shafts, bearings, and impellers.
• Conduct mechanical overhauls, repair, and testing of motors and compressors.
• Ensure alignment and balance of motors using precision tools .
• Collaborate with the rewinding and technical teams to ensure quality repair.
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment, adhering to company safety standards.
• Record and report all maintenance and fitting activities.

Qualifications

• Experience : Minimum 2-3 years of hands-on experience as a motor fitter or technician, specializing in motors and compressors.
• Technical Skills :
• Expertise in handling motors from 0.5 kW to 350 kW .
• Knowledge of fitting bearings, rotors, stators, and other motor components.
• Familiarity with compressor systems.
• Ability to use tools such as pullers, dial indicators, micrometers, and alignment devices.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Basic understanding of electrical motor components and functionality.
