:We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will ensure a smooth and efficient operation in the Technical Services department in relation to the company core process; thus, directly impacting on the maintenance of rides, equipment, and attractions.As a Mechanical Engineer, you will perform daily routines to keep all mechanical systems running and assist and support Maintenance Team on troubleshooting mechanical issues.Your job scope also includes:
Ensure proper operation and care of all rides and attractions, always including their respective equipment
Identify solutions with superior for resolving frequent or repetitive mechanical systems failures relating to safety, reliability, and operational readiness
Coordinate maintenance activities between respective business unit\'s maintenance teams by analyzing and resolving problems
Technical support and advice to all business unit\'s maintenance teams and partners
Investigate, review, and recommend cost-effective equipment maintenance to help improve safety and reliability
Develop new or review existing preventative maintenance plans and identify tasks that need improvement for review by superior
Review existing daily check list and identify tasks that need improvement for review by superior
Develop and recommend improvement plans for annual rehab
Review and manage vendors/manufacturers mechanical documentation are always kept up to date and correct documents are always available and used by the respective business units
Keep close coordination with the Assistant Managers and Managers of the respective business units
Perform other duties as assigned
As an ideal candidate, you will need to have:
Diploma or Higher qualification in Mechanical Engineering or related field
Minimum 5 years working experience with Amusement Rides and Attractions or similar related field
Proficiency in Amusement/Theme Park industry standards and norms (particularly in Mechanical discipline)
Proficient and experienced in NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) inspection and requirements
Proficiency in reading and understanding mechanical symbols, mechanical drawings, and technical documents
In-depth knowledge in systematic review and troubleshooting of both simple and complex mechanical systems
Knowledgeable in large hydraulic, pneumatic systems
Strong background inspecting welded structures, beam elements, welded joints, structural steels, gearing, composite materials, manufacturing, and fabrication processes as applies to EN and or AWS standards
Must be able to analyze data and present findings in written reports
Understand and be knowledgeable in engineering principles, practices, and processes
Knowledgeable in the use of AutoCAD software
Must possess knowledge in the use of Microsoft Office & Visio
Understand, knowledgeable and able to apply AWS, ASTM and EN standards
Knowledgeable in developing processes for diagnosing, troubleshooting or fault finding
