Job Description

Manage and compile competitive tender submissions, ensuring that estimates are detailed and aligned with client specifications, project requirements, and budget constraints.

Prepare comprehensive mechanical cost estimates for commercial and residential fitout projects, including HVAC, plumbing, fire protection systems.

Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain quotes for materials, equipment etc and ensuring all costs are competitive and within budget.

Provide recommendations to improve project efficiency and reduce costs while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Design mechanical systems (HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and ventilation) for fitout projects.

Prepare and maintain comprehensive design documentation, including system specifications, equipment selections, and materials lists for procurement.

CAD drawings for mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, using industry-standard software (Auto CAD , HAP etc)

Familiarity with building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards (e.g., ASHRAE, NFPA)

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering (or related field).

Proven 5 years of experience working as an MEP Engineer, preferably within the fit-out interior design industry.

In-depth knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, including HVAC, lighting, power distribution, fire protection, and plumbing.

Proficiency in MEP design software and tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit MEP, Navisworks).

Familiarity with relevant building codes, regulations, and industry standards.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to resolve MEP-related challenges.

Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet project deadlines.

Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality MEP designs and installations.
