Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing mechanical systems and products for a variety of industries. The Mechanical Engineer will also supervise draftsmen to provide them with technical guidance and mentorship.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and test mechanical systems and products
• Analyze engineering data to identify opportunities for improvement
• Develop and maintain technical documentation for all products and systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that products are delivered on time and within budget
• Supervise draftsmen to provide them with technical guidance and mentorship
• Develop and implement processes for product testing and quality control
• Work with vendors and suppliers to source and evaluate new materials and components
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards
• Participate in the development of new products and technologies
• Undertake general project site observation/inspection of the mechanical services works for the contractor's adherence to the approved shop drawings and the consultant's specification, good working practices, the construction schedule, and health & safety.
• Witness on-site piped system pressure test, air conditioning duct leakage testing, and any other tests that may be required during the first implementation work and advise the Project Manager accordingly.
• Review and comment on Contractor's testing and commissioning results and advise Project Manager accordingly
• Good writing report skills, and experience in making presentations to and attending client meetings.

Qualifications:

• Arabic speaker Prfered
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering Public University, Private University is not Preferred.
• 5 to 10 years of experience in mechanical engineering, here in UAE.
• Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, HAP cooling Load software, AASHT requirements. Revit is prefered.
• Excellent knowledge of Plumbing, Drainage, HVAC, and Fire Fighting Design Expert
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards, such as DDA, Tarakhees, Nakheel, Dubai Municipality, Dubai Civil Defense,
• Society of Engineers ( SOE-UAE) valid member
• Preferably IMMEDIATELY AVAILABLE
• Familiar with AASHTO
