Job Description

Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of mechanical systems and their application in the construction industry. This role will involve all phases of project delivery, from design and planning to construction and commissioning.

Responsibilities:

• Review and analyze project specifications, drawings, and contract documents.
• Perform site inspections and surveys to gather data and identify potential issues.
• Develop and coordinate the design and selection of mechanical systems, including:
• HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) systems
• Plumbing systems
• Fire protection systems
• Electrical systems (as it relates to mechanical systems)
• Prepare and review shop drawings, submittals, and material selections.
• Conduct site meetings with contractors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
• Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any mechanical system issues that arise during construction.
• Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation, including reports, drawings, and as-built information.
• Assist with project cost control and scheduling.
• Collaborate with other engineering disciplines (civil, structural, electrical) to ensure project coordination and integration.
• Stay abreast of the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
