Job Title: Mechanical Site Engineer - MEP Company

Job Overview:
The Mechanical Site Engineer will oversee the planning, design, and installation of mechanical systems on-site for MEP projects, ensuring all systems meet project specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements. This role involves coordinating with various teams, troubleshooting issues on-site, and ensuring that mechanical installations, including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems, are carried out efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Coordination
• Oversee mechanical systems installations on-site, coordinating with project managers, contractors, and other engineering disciplines (electrical, civil, architectural).
• Review project plans, specifications, and blueprints to ensure work complies with contractual requirements and industry standards.
• Site Supervision
• Monitor daily activities, provide technical guidance, and address on-site issues promptly.
• Ensure that mechanical works align with quality and safety standards and meet scheduled milestones.
• Testing and Inspection
• Conduct regular inspections and quality checks on all mechanical installations, including HVAC, plumbing, and firefighting systems.
• Perform commissioning and troubleshooting of installed mechanical systems to ensure proper operation.
• Documentation and Reporting
• Maintain accurate records of all on-site mechanical work, including daily logs, inspection reports, and progress updates.
• Report any discrepancies or delays in project timelines and suggest potential solutions to keep the project on track.
• Safety Compliance
• Ensure all mechanical work complies with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Conduct safety briefings and inspections to enforce proper procedures and protocols.
• Resource Management
• Ensure efficient use of materials, tools, and equipment while managing workforce allocation to meet project requirements.
• Identify any material shortages or equipment requirements and communicate with procurement.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in mechanical engineering within an MEP or construction environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED1,000.00 - AED2,000.00 per month
