Education requirement (Bachelor or Master degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent)

Number of years of experience required is 10-15 years

A hands-on engineering professional having experience in a refinery, large marine terminal or process plant.

Geographic focus in Middle East / Abu Dhabi

Mandatory that the candidate has a proficiency in in the standard MS Office applications, as well as exposure to design aspects, Auto CAD or similar and knowledge of MS Projects

Ability to work in a JV environment and balance own Advario minimum requirements with JV Partner requirements.

Major duties/responsibilities

Oversee engineering proposals, installation, and commissioning to ensure that machines and equipment are installed and functioning according to specifications.

Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost reduction through design optimization.

Provide technical support during the manufacturing, installation, and maintenance phases of projects. Checks and approves system components or direct modification of products to ensure conformance with engineering design and performance specifications.

It is expected that the candidate follows up on the engineering approval as well as follows up in the field upon progress and quality, in close collaboration with the Construction and QA/QC Manager.

Support and guide the EPC contractor to analyse and resolve engineering problems related to mechanical systems.

Evaluate mechanical systems and components for performance, reliability, and safety.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers and industrial designers, to ensure integrated product designs.

Prepare technical documentation, reports, and presentations to communicate design concepts, analysis results, and project status.

Perform other related duties as assigned.

Working conditions

Work requirement is to be physically on-site 5 days a week during working hours
