Job Description

• Develop and design mechanical systems, including HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning), plumbing, fire protection, and other building services.
• Ensure all designs comply with applicable building codes, safety regulations, and standards.
• Work closely with project managers, architects, civil engineers, and clients to coordinate mechanical aspects of the project.
• Conduct site inspections and assessments to monitor the progress and quality of mechanical systems installations.
• Plan and oversee project schedules, budgets, and resources for mechanical installations.
• Supervise and provide guidance to contractors and technicians during the installation of mechanical systems.
• Develop and oversee testing, commissioning, and maintenance plans for mechanical systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues related to mechanical systems.
• Implement energy-efficient and environmentally sustainable practices within mechanical designs.
• Evaluate and recommend alternative systems or equipment to improve performance, reduce environmental impact, and optimize cost.
• Ensure that all mechanical systems comply with safety regulations, industry standards, and environmental laws.
• Conduct risk assessments and develop solutions to mitigate potential hazards related to mechanical equipment and systems.
• Maintain thorough documentation of designs, calculations, inspections, and maintenance activities.
• Prepare technical reports and communicate findings to clients and contractors.
• Conduct site meeting and project progress reporting on weekly basis.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Minimum 5 to 8 years of experience in the construction industry, especially in the installation and maintenance of mechanical systems for buildings and infrastructure projects from UAE Only

Skills:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or other design software; knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems; familiarity with industry codes
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for evaluating system performance and troubleshooting issues.
• Ability to manage time, resources, and budgets effectively; experience in coordinating with multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for collaborating with team members and stakeholders.

Ability to ensure precision and accuracy in designs, calculations, and installation procedures
