As part of our ongoing growth, we are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team.Responsibilities:Mass Properties: Calculate and manage aircraft Mass, Balance and Moments of Inertia. Manage target design weights, mass configurations and Weight and CG Envelope over product life cycle.Structural Design and Analysis: Propose structural layouts and design solutions using CAD tools. Estimate loads during all operating and design conditions, based on product requirements and adequate methods. Select appropriate materials based on weight, strength, cost, durability and manufacturing constraints. Perform strength, fatigue and vibration analysis, using classic and FE methods. Specify, lead and post process the results of tests to proof materials and structural properties. Guarantee structural integrity and safety throughout product life cycle.Mechanical Systems Design and Analysis: Design, develop, specify and test actuation, fuel management, landing gear, hydraulic, pneumatic and thermal management systems. Perform FMEA, safety analysis, define system architecture, participate in supplier selection process, specify tests and qualification campaigns. Perform simulation on mechanism kinematics, heat transfer and fluid flow.Certification Support: Work closely with certification authorities to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and support the certification process.Support Manufacturing and Operations: provide engineering support and disposition to manufacturing NCRs, repairs instructions, in field reported issues.Documentation: Prepare detailed reports, documentation, and technical drawings to communicate analysis results and design modifications.Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design engineers, aerodynamicists, and systems engineers, to optimize aircraft designs.Continuous Improvement: Stay informed about the latest aerospace technologies, industry trends, and best practices to enhance engineering processes and methodologies.Qualifications:Bachelor\'s Degree: A bachelor\'s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field is required. A master\'s degree or Ph.D. is a plus.Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in aerospace engineering, with a focus on at least one of the aforementioned concentration areas.Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for complex engineering problems.CAE Tools: Proficiency with software packages such as ANSYS, Abaqus, or Nastran.CAD Tools: Experience with CAD tools (e.g., CATIA, SolidWorks) for drafting, reviewing and modifying product designs.Aerospace Standards: Familiarity with aerospace standards and regulations, including Part 25 and Part 23, MIL stds, RTCA, DO, ASME, ASTM.Communication: Excellent communication skills to convey technical information effectively to cross-functional teams and certification authorities.Team Player: Strong teamwork and collaboration abilities to work in a multidisciplinary and multicultural engineering environment.Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail to ensure product integrity and safety.Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and prioritize tasks effectively.ADASI is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion.
