Responsibilities:

• Project Management: Manage and oversee mechanical engineering projects within the MEP sector from inception to completion.
• Design and Engineering: Develop detailed designs, specifications, and engineering calculations for mechanical systems including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with local regulations, building codes, and standards relevant to mechanical systems in building, villa, and tower construction.
• Quality Assurance: Conduct quality assurance checks on mechanical installations and systems to ensure functionality, efficiency, and safety.
• Coordination: Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate mechanical systems into overall project designs.
• Documentation: Prepare and maintain project documentation including drawings, specifications, and reports.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in mechanical engineering within the MEP or construction industry, focusing on building, villa, and tower projects.
• Certification: Professional Engineer (PE) certification preferred.
• Skills:
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit MEP, or similar.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Thorough understanding of sustainability principles and practices in construction.
• Regulatory Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of local regulations and building codes applicable to mechanical systems in Abu Dhabi.
• Equivalence: Familiarity with the equivalency certification process for international engineering degrees and qualifications.
