We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Draughtsman to join our team at FitoutView Interiors and Contracting LLC . The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing detailed mechanical drawings, including HVAC system layouts, ductwork, piping, and equipment installations. A strong understanding of HVAC calculations and system design is essential, as well as proficiency in using CAD software to produce accurate, high-quality drawings.

Key Responsibilities :

• Create detailed mechanical drawings for HVAC systems, including ductwork, piping, equipment, and ventilation designs.
• Perform HVAC calculations for system sizing (cooling and heating loads, air flow rates, pressure drop, and duct design).
• Prepare drawings and schematics for mechanical installations in compliance with project specifications and building codes.
• Work closely with engineers and project managers to understand project requirements and provide accurate, timely drafts.
• Update and revise drawings as required based on client feedback and design changes.
• Coordinate with other departments (structural, electrical, plumbing) to ensure mechanical systems are integrated seamlessly.
• Review and interpret project plans, blueprints, and technical specifications.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of mechanical drawings and revisions.
• Ensure that all designs comply with relevant safety regulations and industry standards.

Requirements :

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Proven experience as a Mechanical Draughtsman in an interior fit-out.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC calculations and system design (cooling and heating load calculations, duct sizing, airflow calculations, pressure loss).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and other drafting/design software (e.g., Revit, SolidWorks, or equivalent).
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems, building codes, and industry standards.
• Good communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in all technical drawings and designs.

Preferred Skills :

Experience with HVAC design software (e.g., HAP, Carrier HAP, or similar).

Knowledge of energy-efficient and sustainable design practices for HVAC systems.

Familiarity with BIM (Building Information Modeling) processes and software.
