Mechanical Draftsman
Job Description
• Prepare basic mechanical, assembly and electrical drawings
• Work from rough sketches, schematics, verbal and written instructions to create simple to complex engineering drawings
• Incorporate redline corrections to existing drawings, BOMs and documents
• Create PDF files from existing drawings, BOMs and documents
• Create PDF files of released drawings, BOMs and documents for installation packages
• Create merged PDFs of released drawings, BOMS and documents for technical manuals
• Assign part numbers for drawings, BOMs and documents
• Must demonstrate commitment to compliance with applicable laws and regulations, the Company'sComplianceandCode of Ethics, and other Company policies and procedures, and take all required training courses
• Maintain open communication with the designers/drafters
• Meet all deadlines as required by project schedule
