We are seeking a talented and experienced Mechanical Draftsman to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in the contracting, MEP, and construction industries, with 3-5 years of relevant experience. A diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering is preferred, but candidates with substantial practical experience in mechanical drafting will also be considered.

Key Responsibilities:

- Drafting: Prepare detailed mechanical drawings, layouts, and schematics using CAD software in accordance with project specifications and standards.

- Design Coordination: Collaborate with engineers and project managers to understand project requirements and ensure accurate representation in drawings.

- Documentation: Maintain up-to-date and organized documentation of all drawings, revisions, and related technical documents.

- Quality Control: Review and check drawings for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with relevant standards and regulations.

- Revisions: Implement changes and updates to drawings as required by project modifications or client feedback.

- Standards Compliance: Ensure all mechanical designs and drawings adhere to local and international standards, codes, and best practices.

- Technical Support: Provide technical support and assistance to the engineering and construction teams during the project lifecycle.

- Site Visits: Conduct site visits as necessary to gather information, verify conditions, and ensure drawings align with actual installations.

Qualifications:

- Experience: 3-5 years of mechanical drafting experience in the contracting, MEP, and construction industries within the UAE.

- Education: Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering is preferred. Candidates with substantial relevant experience will also be considered.

Skills:

- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.)

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy

- Good understanding of mechanical systems and components

- Excellent communication and teamwork skills

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks

- Knowledge: Familiarity with industry standards, codes, and regulations related to mechanical design and drafting.
