Job Designation: Sr Design Engineer/Asst Manager

Job Purpose :

To design and develop Isolation valves as per API standard including but not limited to Gate,Globe,Check,Plug ,Ball & Butterfly valves.Trouble

shooting and resolving shop floor complaints and customer Complaints

Principal Accountabilities :

Identify potential areas of NPD for the Organisation

Perfrom detail design calculation and concept drawings for HOD approval Perform

Proto validation as per apporved procedure and Qulaify the valve as per API standards

Identify testing agency and liase Qulaification testing like FE/Fire/Operational test Etc

Review calculations as per API/ASME/PED standard

Review bill of Materials (BOM) of the above works for material requisition

Prepare design documents in line with API and Quality System requirements.

Face API audit for product qualification

Perfrom Analysis (FEA/CFD) to check the product perfromace

Liase with manufacturing team on the assembly issues during first built.

Additional Responsibilities :

Provide product training to all team members in Organisation

Maintian all Qulaity system documents

Provide additional inputs for manufacturing and testing

Pre Requisites:

Minimum 10 years in valve Industry. Atleast 5 years in manufacturing environment .

Hands On expereince in product testing and validation

Experience in detail designing of valve components using Solidworks

Bachelors Degree holder in Mechanical Engineering

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED4,500.00 - AED5,000.00 per month

• ASME/API Products Design: 10 years (Required)
• Mechanical Designer: 10 years (Required)
