Quarry Mining LLC is a partnership between the Ras Al Khaimah Government and German investors. Our team of 100 skilled team can deliver and install any of 50 off-the-shelf mineral processing plants or design a custom solution of any scale and size to meet your requirements. Our company own workshop is handling up to 100t of steel production per month.

We operate in GCC countries, the MENA region, and other African countries. We are ISO certified 9001:2015, ISO Certificate 14001:2015, and ISO 45001:2018.

We are searching a new Design Engineer to increase our engineering teams from now.

Scope of this vacancy is:

• Experience in these field > 5 years
• Design Conveyor Systems
• Design Steel Structure
• Design Bulk Handling Equipment
• Design Port Handling equipment
• Design Silos, Structures, Hoppers and loading bins
• Design Steel buildings
• Engineering and design for special applications and special non-standard plants
• Static design and review of design structure
• Prepare offer drawings and budget BOQ + pricing
• Create General Arrangement Drawings
• Create 3D Models, Fabrication drawings, assembly drawings, foundation drawings
• Create spare parts drawings and general project documentation
• Enquire equipment and required special parts
• Prepare weld maps, weld plans and fabrication instructions
• Prepare BOQ
• Review tender files and design in accordance
• On site measurements and on-site trouble shooting
• Proper reporting and following up on issues

Required Skills

• Work in a team
• Work self-autonomous and make decisions in consultation with Head of Engineering
• Work under high pressure
• Mandatory: Experience and able to work with Autodesk AUTOCAD, especially Advanced Steel and Inventor
• Preferable experience with RFEM
• Preferable experience with Dlubal Static Design Software
• Preferable experience with Sidewinder
• Advanced English speaking, German is an advantage
• Able to work with MS Word, MS Excel and other office tools
• Able to understand complex structures and machines
• Experience In bulk handling: Conveyors, Feeders, Crushers, Screens, Silos, Hoppers, Bucket Elevators, Screw Conveyors, Shiploaders, Truck-Unloading Systems, Truck-Loading Systems, Material Handling System
• Experience in steel manufacturing and fabrication process
