Mechanical BIM Modeler for a 2-month onsite contract to support our project team on a high-profile project.

As a Mechanical BIM Modeler , you will be responsible for developing, coordinating, and reviewing 3D mechanical systems models for various building projects. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless integration of mechanical systems into architectural and structural designs, while ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop and maintain 3D mechanical BIM models for MEP systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and piping.
• Collaborate with project teams to integrate mechanical systems with architectural and structural designs.
• Perform clash detection and resolve coordination issues efficiently.
• Ensure models meet industry standards and project specifications.
• Provide technical support and input during project meetings and reviews.
• Assist with the preparation of shop drawings and other deliverables.
• Monitor and ensure timely completion of project milestones.

Qualifications :

• 5+ years of experience in mechanical BIM modeling, preferably in the construction or engineering sector.
• Strong proficiency in BIM software (e.g., Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD MEP, or similar).
• Solid knowledge of mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and piping.
• Deep understanding of BIM standards, workflows, and project delivery methods.
• Ability to work onsite and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
• Proven ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• BIM Certification (e.g., Autodesk Certified Professional) is a plus.
