Job Description

• Develop detailed BIM models for mechanical systems including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems.

• Collaborate with project teams to understand project requirements, design criteria, and specifications.

• Interpret 2D drawings, specifications, and other project documents to create 3D BIM models using Revit or other BIM software.

• Ensure that BIM models accurately represent the design intent and comply with industry standards and codes.

• Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and other stakeholders to resolve design conflicts and coordination issues.

• Participate in BIM coordination meetings and assist in clash detection and resolution.

• Generate accurate quantity takeoffs and assist in cost estimation.

• Maintain organized file structures and adhere to company BIM standards and best practices.

• Stay updated with the latest BIM technologies, software, and industry trends.

• Provide guidance and support to junior BIM staff as needed.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a BIM Modeler with a focus on mechanical systems in construction projects. o Proficiency in BIM software such as Revit, AutoCAD MEP, Navisworks, and other related tools.

• Strong understanding of mechanical systems, codes, and standards.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.

• Relevant certifications such as Autodesk Certified Professional (ACP) are desirable.

Salary will be determined based on experience.
