Job Description

We are looking for a skilled

Mechanic

with experience in maintaining and repairing

oilfield equipment

and other heavy machinery. The ideal candidate should have strong troubleshooting skills, the ability to read and interpret technical manuals and hydraulic schematics, and a commitment to workplace safety.

Key Responsibilities:

Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in

oilfield equipment, heavy machinery, and vehicles

. Perform routine maintenance, including oil changes, brake inspections, and hydraulic system servicing. Read and interpret

technical manuals, hydraulic schematics, and equipment blueprints

to diagnose and repair machinery. Troubleshoot and repair engines, transmissions, pumps, hydraulic systems, and other critical components. Conduct inspections to ensure equipment is operating at peak performance and meets safety standards. Use diagnostic tools and repair equipment to identify and resolve mechanical failures. Maintain accurate service records and report all maintenance activities. Follow company safety procedures and industry best practices.

Qualifications and Skills:

Experience:

Previous experience as a mechanic, preferably with

oilfield equipment or heavy machinery

. 3 to 5 experience

Certification:

ASE certification, vocational training, or relevant trade certification preferred.

Skills:

Ability to

read and interpret technical manuals and hydraulic schematics

. Strong knowledge of

oilfield equipment, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and powertrains

. Hands-on experience with

diagnostic tools and repair techniques

. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in mechanics is a plus
