Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate Math Teacher to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective math instruction to students.

• Develop and deliver engaging and effective math lessons aligned with the curriculum and student learning objectives.
• Create a stimulating and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and critical thinking.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of all learners, including gifted and struggling students.
• Assess student learning regularly through various methods (e.g., tests, quizzes, projects, observations) and provide timely and constructive feedback.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Collaborate with other teachers and support staff to ensure student success.
• Maintain accurate student records and participate in professional development activities.
• Utilize technology effectively to enhance teaching and learning.
• Contribute to the overall school community by participating in school events and activities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics. (statistics/mechanics)
• OR Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) with a specialization in Mathematics.
• Minimum 2 years of successful teaching experience in a 7-12 setting
• OR 1 year of successful teaching experience with a PGCE.
• Strong knowledge of mathematics pedagogy and best practices in teaching and learning.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Passion for working with children and a commitment to student success.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in using technology in the classroom.

Desired Skills:

• Experience with differentiated instruction and inclusive education.
• Experience in teaching statistics A/S ALEVEL
• Experience with curriculum development and assessment.
• Experience in teaching mechanics A/S ALEVEL

Job Type: Temporary
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: AED7,000.00 - AED9,000.00 per month
