Overview

**This position is physically located in Kuwait in support of LOGCAP**

Supervises a team in receiving, storing, inventorying, issuing, and disposing of Government Furnished and Contractor Acquired Material. Coordinates and supervises monthly 10% cyclic inventory, 100% annual inventory, and monthly location surveys. Validates and process customers' materiel/equipment orders. Perform 3-way match, receive, segregate and issue materiel/equipment to customers. Process MAXIMO transactions and verify accuracy of records. Supervises up to 25 direct/indirect reports. Responsible for the submission, reconciliation, and monitoring of GCSS-A requisitions. Prepares and submits reports to the Warehouse Manager providing detailed information on routine and special reports.

Responsibilities

This position description is subject to change at any time as needed to meet the requirements of the program or company.

+ Supervises a 24hr and 7 days a week operation.

+ Supervises a team of up to 25 direct/indirect personnel to accomplish provided tasks to standard.

+ Mentors and develops subordinate leaders.

+ Responsible for receiving and release of payment for all materials and equipment purchases for the entire LCVK TO Kuwait operation.

+ Supervises the transportation of supplies to other departments, using Pallet Jack, Forklift or industrial truck as required.

+ Responsible for the submission, reconciliation, and monitoring of GCSS-A requisitions.

+ Responsible for the screening and validation of all acquisitions throughout the entire LCVK TO Kuwait operation to ensure financial and contractual compliance.

+ Operates and manipulates data in various commercial and military computer systems. This requires broad based understanding of system operations and analytical skills necessary to interpret the data resulting in cost savings or loss mitigation.

+ Interfaces with internal and external auditors

+ Supervises warehouse operation with multi-million dollars' worth of stock.

+ Ensures adequate storage space allocation for on hand and inbound material.

+ Ensures locations are properly marked, matched and recorded in MAXIMO.

+ Responsible for Physical Security of material under his/her control that are stored in accordance with the FAR and local policy.

+ Adjusts inventory/location of stored stock. Determine methods of storage, identification, and stock location, considering temperature, humidity, height and weight limits, turnover, floor loading capacities, and required space.

+ Identifies Excess material in stock and request disposition accordingly.

+ Prepares, reads and analyzes records and reports necessary to execute actions routinely.

+ Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications

+ MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

+ Education/Certifications: One-year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required.

+ High school graduate or equivalent.

+ Capable of effectively communicating technical information in English, both written and verbal

+ Experience:

+ 3 years of experience in Materiel Management or another similar field.

+ 2-year supervisory experience at the team level or higher

+ Functional, comprehensive working knowledge of the Federal Acquisitions and Regulations for Material/Property Management

+ Working knowledge of supply room operations and inventory management is required.

+ DESIRED SKILLS:

+ NPMA, Certified Professional Property Specialist or above

+ Strong- knowledge level of automated financial and accounting systems. IFS experience is desired.

+ Experience in military or commercial supply management system. GCSS-Army and DLA Program experience is desired.

+ Ability to develop training materials using the latest electronic tools and deliver training to a multinational work force with varying language skills.

+ Microsoft Office, with intermediate to advanced Excel skills

+ Supervisory Training

+ Strong analytical skills

+ WMS experience with Maximo, IFS, SAP, Oracle or similar systems

+ Customer service training

+ SUPERVISORY/BUDGET RESPONSIBILITIES:

+ Has significant role in validating program acquisitions and vendors' payments valued at multi-million dollars. Has significant role in the accountability of materials stored in the warehouse valued at multi-million dollars. Will have direct/indirect reports of up to 25 Material Control Specialists.

+ WORKING ENVIRONMENT:

+ Work is generally conducted out-of-doors area with a potential exposure to extreme climatic conditions. Employee use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required. Such PPE includes but is not limited to head, foot, hand, torso, vision and hearing protective devices. Must comply with OSHA, EPA, Fire Regulations and published Company work rules.
