Summary Coordinate and expedite the flow of materials (from suppliers and also within departments) according to production schedules, Plan and schedule material/production needs, Responsible for planning/execution of defined components scope in support of product line engine output and gate 2 closure. Coordinates with multiple vendors/suppliers across the globe, applying the best supply chain management techniques to improve service, keep inventory controlled and ERP cleansing to support proper engines closure, billing and demand closures.Essential Responsibilities
Manage master planning, material processes and systems, prepare and update production schedules and purchasing needs. Ensure operational alignment with production plan and KPIs. Optimize inventory and support process improvements.
Experience communicating with external customers and working in cross functional teams.
Develop in-depth knowledge of a technical skills within aerospace configuration management. Uses prior experience and acquired technical expertise to execute policy/strategy.
In-depth understanding of key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work. In-depth understanding of how work of own team integrates with other teams and contributes to the area.
Maintains strong cadence and follow up with vendors and suppliers, improving materials availability and precision on gates allocation.
Uses judgment and has ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters within scope. Uses prior experience and on-the-job training to solve tasks. Has access to technical skills and analytic thinking required to solve problems. May use multiple internal sources outside of own team to arrive at decisions.
Provide reports, lead meetings with multiple stakeholders, based on precise data that are also to be available on systems available to other functions.
Qualifications / Requirements:
This role requires advanced experience in the Manufacturing & Materials Planning and Execution.
Knowledge level is comparable to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college
At least 6 years of experience in Aerospace/airlines industry
