Job Description

We are seeking a Laboratory Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our advanced material testing laboratory. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all laboratory processes and services meet the highest standards, enabling us to deliver exceptional results to our clients. This position requires an individual with strong leadership skills, an in-depth understanding of geotechnical engineering, and a commitment to maintaining safety and quality throughout laboratory operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and oversee the daily operations of the geotechnical laboratory, ensuring the efficient and effective use of resources.

Supervise and mentor laboratory staff, ensuring they adhere to industry best practices, safety protocols, and quality standards.

Coordinate and schedule testing activities, ensuring projects are completed on time and meet client specifications.

Ensure all laboratory equipment is properly maintained and calibrated in accordance with safety regulations and industry standards.

Develop and implement laboratory policies and procedures to ensure high-quality test results and compliance with regulations.

Collaborate with engineers and project managers to interpret and analyze test results, providing technical expertise as needed.

Maintain accurate records of testing procedures, results, and quality control documentation.

Monitor and manage laboratory budgets and resources, identifying areas for cost-saving and efficiency improvements.

Stay updated on new technologies, techniques, and industry advancements to continually improve laboratory operations.

Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
