• Handling methodology Selection: Choosing appropriate handling items or tools based on project requirements and specifications.
• Sketch / Presentation - Prepare relevant handling sketch / cinematic for piping material like valve / spools / equipments etc.
• Developing and reviewing handling and layout plans for offshore and onshore facilities, ensuring maintainability and operational efficiency.
• Maintenance: Develop handling reports for the platform and co-ordinate with SP3D Designers for modelling of the cinematic or methods of handling of the items.
• Prepare datasheet for material handling items like rollers / shackles / A Frames / monorails / trolleys etc.
• Co-ordinate with vendor for purchase of the material handling items.
• Should have excellent presentation skills, knowledge in NAVIS work software for review.
• Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
• Should have worked in a similar role in past companies whereby independently leading the material handling engineer role, co-ordinate with various disciplines (like Mechanical dept. for Crane selection / monorail capacity etc.) for relevant input and verification.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 10+ years of experience as Material Handling Engineer role in Offshore Platforms, Oil & Gas sector.
• Proven experience working with Qatargas, ADNOC or Saudi Aramco standards.
• Fluent level of English, written and spoken.

• Job Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE.
• Contract Duration: 6 months (extendable).
• Starting Date: October 2024.
