Position : Material Coordinator Designer

Key Responsibilities:

• Material Selection and Specification :
• Select appropriate aluminum and facade materials based on project design requirements.
• Ensure materials meet structural, aesthetic, and environmental standards.
• Provide technical specifications and details for material use.
• Technical Coordination :
• Collaborate with , engineers, and construction teams to integrate materials into designs.
• Ensure material choices align with overall project goals and technical requirements.
• Supplier and Vendor Management :
• Identify and source materials from reliable suppliers.
• Negotiate prices, delivery schedules, and terms with vendors.
• Ensure timely delivery and quality of materials.
• Inventory and Logistics Management :
• Monitor and manage material inventory levels to meet project demands.
• Oversee storage, handling, and transportation of materials to ensure efficiency and prevent damage.
• Cost Management :
• Prepare cost estimates for materials and track expenses to stay within budget.
• Optimize costs through effective negotiation and resource management.
• Quality Control :
• Inspect materials upon arrival to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Address discrepancies or defects with suppliers promptly.
• Sustainability Considerations :
• Incorporate eco-friendly and sustainable materials into project designs.
• Stay updated on industry innovations in sustainable materials.
• Documentation and Reporting :
• Maintain detailed records of material specifications, orders, and usage.
• Provide regular updates and reports to production and design teams.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Materials Science, Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
• Proven experience in material coordination within the aluminum and facade industries.
• Strong understanding of material properties, specifications, and industry standards.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills.
• Effective communication and negotiation abilities.
• Proficiency in relevant software (e.g., CAD, ERP systems).
• Attention to detail and a proactive problem-solving approach.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per month
