Job Overview

Lux Renov8 is seeking a skilled and experienced Master Tile Fixer to join our renovation team. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional tile installation expertise and a strong eye for detail, ensuring quality craftsmanship for various residential and commercial projects. This role requires both technical skill and the ability to lead by example in complex tile installations.

Key Responsibilities

• Tile Installation: Expertly measure, cut, and install various types of tiles (ceramic, porcelain, marble, etc.) in bathrooms, kitchens, floors, walls, and other surfaces.
• Quality Control: Ensure precision, alignment, and finish quality, delivering installations that meet high standards.
• Surface Preparation: Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and applying adhesives or setting materials.
• Grouting and Sealing: Accurately grout and seal tiles, ensuring water resistance and durability.
• Problem Solving: Diagnose and correct any issues in tile installations, from uneven surfaces to damaged tiles.
• Team Leadership: Mentor and guide junior tile fixers, ensuring compliance with project timelines and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Experience: 5+ years of experience as a tile fixer, with a proven record in high-quality installations.
• Skills: Proficient in handling various tile types and installation techniques. Knowledge of measurements, cutting, grouting, and sealing.
• Attention to Detail: High level of precision, with the ability to identify and resolve imperfections.
• Physical Stamina: Able to lift, carry, and work on hands and knees for extended periods.
