Job Title: Massage Therapist

Location: New beauty salon in Yas Island, Abu Dhabi (United Arab Emirates)

Job Type: Full Time 10am to 8pm, 6 days per week

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our spa and wellness center. As a Massage Therapist, you will provide exceptional massage therapy services to our clients, helping them relieve stress, alleviate pain, and improve their overall well-being. The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills, a passion for health and wellness, and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Perform a variety of massage treatments including Swedish, deep tissue, hot stone, sports massage, and aromatherapy massages.
• Conduct thorough client assessments to identify client needs, conditions, and expectations.
• Customize massage sessions based on individual client preferences and health conditions.
• Educate clients on the benefits of regular massage therapy and recommend personalized treatment plans.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in treatment rooms and equipment.
• Adhere to all state and local licensing regulations and sanitation standards.
• Maintain detailed client records and documentation of treatments.
• Promote and sell spa memberships, packages, and retail products.
• Collaborate with other spa team members to ensure a seamless spa experience for clients.
• Stay updated on industry trends, new techniques, and continuing education opportunities.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year of proven experience as an Massage therapist, preferably in a spa or wellness center environment.
• Certification in Massage Therapy from an accredited program.
• Strong knowledge of massage therapy techniques and modalities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to assess client needs and recommend appropriate treatments.
• Up-to-date knowledge of health and safety regulations.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Additional certifications in specialized massage therapies such as prenatal, Thai massage, or reflexology.
• Experience with advanced massage techniques or body treatments.
