Job Description

Job Responsibilities for a Painter/Mason:

• Surface preparation : Clean and prepare surfaces by removing old paint, tiles, adhesive, and debris.
• Painting : Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes to surfaces using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
• Masonry work : Lay bricks, stones, and other masonry materials to construct walls, pathways, and other structures.
• Tile installation : Install tiles on floors, walls, and other surfaces, ensuring proper alignment and leveling.
• Repair and maintenance : Repair damaged surfaces, fix cracks, and perform general maintenance tasks.
• Follow safety protocols : Adhere to safety regulations and use protective equipment to prevent accidents.
• Collaborate with team members : Work closely with other tradespeople and contractors on construction projects.
• Maintain tools and equipment : Keep tools and equipment in good working condition and ensure they are properly stored.

Candidate Requirements:

• Experience : 2-4 years of experience as a painter/mason or in a similar role.
• Education : High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in painting or masonry is preferred.
• Skills : Proficiency in painting and masonry techniques, knowledge of building codes, and familiarity with tools and materials.
• Physical fitness : Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and working in tight spaces.
• Attention to detail : Strong attention to detail to ensure high-quality workmanship2.
• Communication skills : Ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED1,700.00 - AED2,000.00 per month
